A successful and growing organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their central finance function on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all accounts.
- Manage stock reconciliation processes, validating data between internal systems and ERP platforms.
- Support the month-end and year-end reporting cycles, producing high-quality financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure statutory, legal and group reporting requirements are met in line with relevant deadlines.
- Act as a key contact for both internal and external audit teams.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to senior management when required.
- Assist with additional projects, reporting tasks and ad-hoc finance initiatives across the department.
Skills & Experience
- Newly qualified or finalist ACA/ACCA, or equivalent experience within a similar financial accounting role.
- Strong analytical capability, with confident use of Excel (including formulas, pivot tables and data validation).
- Experience with ERP or finance systems (SAP beneficial but not essential).
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities.
Package
- £250 - £275 per day (umbrella)
- Office-based role with standard Monday - Friday working pattern
- 6 months minimum contract
