Estimator / Maidstone / Permanent / Up to £35,000

Our client, a well-established leader in the construction industry, are seeking a skilled professional to join their team as an Estimator. You will play a vital role in accurately estimating project opportunities and overseeing costings on projects.

Role and responsibilities

  • Breakdown costs include labour and materials
  • Liaise with suppliers on costs for upcoming projects and negotiate prices
  • Producing detailed pricing proposals and visualizations.
  • Working with Project Managers
  • Work with Site Managers to discuss any variations

Experience and expertise

  • Previous experience in an Estimating, Quantity Surveyor or Cost Management position
  • Experience in the construction industry would be beneficial
  • Strong understanding of quantifying and taking off materials.
  • Experience using an estimating software
  • A self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • A team player who can also work independently.
