An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join a growing and highly respected London-based law firm. This position is ideal for a proactive and commercially minded solicitor looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive property team. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of high-quality residential property matters while contributing to the continued growth and development of the department.
The Role
You will manage a varied residential property caseload, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-financing matters
- New leases
- Transfers of equity
- Residential investment transactions
The role will also involve providing strategic advice to a diverse client base including investors, developers, landlords, and tenants. In addition, you will play an active role in business development, networking, and mentoring junior team members within the department.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ PQE within Residential Property law
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of conveyancing matters
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills
- Experience managing a busy caseload independently
- Strong communication, organisational, and administrative abilities
- Leadership or supervisory experience with trainees, paralegals, or legal assistants
- A proactive and commercially focused mindset
- Existing referrer or client relationships would be advantageous but are not essential
