A large non-for-profit organisation are currently seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to join their team to promote best practice and excellent health and safety standards across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience for a globally recognised organisation and grow your Health and Safety experience.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Work with managers across the organisation to ensure that great health and safety standards are being followed.
- Investigating incidents and reporting.
- Implement H&S strategies across the organisation and policies.
- Complete audits across the organisation and present findings.
- Ensure the business is following regulations and complying.
- Reporting on performance to senior level stakeholders.
- Managing cost control.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a Health and Safety Specialist position.
- Experience managing Health and Safety within public spaces.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualified.
- An excellent communicator.
- Hard-working and ambitious.
