An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Accountant to join a well-established and highly successful international business operating within the manufacturing and industrial sector. This position would suit an ambitious ACCA or ACA qualified accountant who enjoys working in a commercially focused environment and wants to play a key role in financial reporting, business performance analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of management accounts, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and group reporting activities while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the wider business.
The Role
- Producing monthly management accounts with commentary and variance analysis
- Delivering detailed cost, margin, and profitability analysis
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
- Overseeing fixed asset registers and investment property reporting
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Assisting with statutory accounts and external audit processes
- Producing group reporting and consolidated financial information
- Managing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with UK and international regulations
- Partnering with operational teams to improve business performance and cost control
- Identifying process improvements and efficiencies, including the use of AI and automation tools
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified ACCA or ACA accountant
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualified experience within a similar role
- Strong experience producing management accounts and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel and strong systems skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Previous experience within manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
