It’s a fully remote, Senior JavaScript Engineer role. (you must be currently living in the UK) They’re a Software-as-a-Service company developing products used by Events, Entertainment & Attraction companies. This includes Disney & the BBC; prominent theatre productions like Harry Potter and the Book of Mormon; and big exhibitions like the Immersive Van Gogh Experience.

They are well established in the UK but have seen rapid product uptake in the US & Canada. In terms of what they build - one product provides the whole booking & purchasing experience for potential eventgoers. It’s a platform which sits on top of the clients website. They also build digital marketing toolkit for the events producers; and data analytics dashboards feeding information on how customers are using the platform to guide optimisation, increase customer conversions etc.

It’s a fullstack role with a focus on React, Node & Typescript. The stack also includes Next JS, Nest & Express, Redux, GraphQL, AWS, MongoDB, MySQL & Postgres. There’s opportunity to contribute in a number of different areas with lots of new feature development; data integration projects; and also integration projects with different 3rd parties and payment providers.

We’ve placed 7 people with them over past 4-5 years, all still with the business, very good culture with opportunities and support for L&D. It’s a remote role but the team get together for 2 Europe trips each year, Venice & Barca this year. They’re now around 45 employees and have several more engineering hires in the pipeline.
