Overview
Insight Recruitment represents a leading MEP contractor working in data centres, decarbonisation, prefabrication and modular builds. They are looking for an HSE Manager to join their team on a Decarbonisation UK project located in the Birmingham area. Location: Birmingham. Hours: 8am-5pm Monday – Friday with site travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies aligned with legal and client requirements
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits
- Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions
- Advise project teams through all phases—design to installation
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure safe practices
- Drive HSE training, awareness, and engagement
- Monitor and report HSE performance to senior stakeholders
- Act as the main contact for client HSE audits and visits
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of HSE Officers
- Deliver ongoing training and development
- Allocate team resources effectively across sites
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Support safe, sustainable project delivery as the business expands across Europe
