Our client is seeking a Senior Delegated Authority Audit Analyst to join their Delegated Authority team in London. Reporting to the Delegated Authority Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the audit management of the company's Coverholder and DCA agreements, ensuring appropriate oversight, risk management, and regulatory compliance across our delegated authority portfolio.
You will support the Audit Manager in preparing annual and quarterly audit plans, scheduling Coverholder and DCA audits, and developing tailored, risk-based oversight programmes. This includes analysing and processing audit reports, ensuring issues are identified, followed up, and escalated appropriately, and monitoring audit closure through to satisfactory conclusion including closing meetings and committee presentations.
A key aspect of the role is preparing monthly reports on open and overdue audit recommendations, providing regular Management Information on audit progress and performance, and preparing Underwriting and Compliance packs for internal committees. You will communicate with business and market stakeholders to determine appropriate actions for each Coverholder and DCA, ensuring they understand and comply with Delegated Authority, Consumer Duty, Compliance and Financial Crime requirements.
You will provide ongoing oversight of the audit panel, represent the company on Lloyd's and other market forums, and provide technical expertise to the business on delegated authority matters. The role also involves supporting the development of audit policies and procedures, embedding operational risk management processes, and supporting the oversight and performance management of outsource partners.
You will have good knowledge of the Lloyd's market, Binding Authorities and Coverholder issues, with a clear understanding of regulatory requirements including Delegated Authority, Consumer Duty, Compliance and Financial Crime. Strong organisational and administrative skills are essential, along with good Excel and Word proficiency.
