This innovative and exciting insurance group are going through a period of growth and are now recruiting for a key position within their London finance team. Reporting directly into the CFO, they are looking to identify a highly motivated and experienced Head of Finance to play a critical role in their financial strategy and finance operations.

As well as collaborating with senior management across the business, this role will oversee a talented team providing mentorship and fostering their growth. The role will have responsibilities across the following areas:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies and lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Financial Analysis & Performance Management: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate product, line of business, and channel performance. Monitor KPIs, analyze variances, and identify opportunities for improving profits.
  • Actuarial Oversight: Collaborate with actuarial teams to analyze risks, reserves, and pricing strategies.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings including Lloyd’s, as well as management reports.
  • Investment & Treasury Management: Manage investment portfolios, cash flow, liquidity, and capital resources.
  • Stakeholder Management: Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the board.

You will be a well-rounded finance professional with demonstrable experience within the London insurance market, either Lloyd’s or MGA. Able to lead and mentor teams while working on a wide range of financial responsibilities. You will be looking for a high-profile finance position within an entrepreneurial and innovative insurance group.
