You will support the Audit Manager in preparing annual and quarterly audit plans, scheduling Coverholder and DCA audits, and developing tailored, risk-based oversight programmes. This includes analysing and processing audit reports, ensuring issues are identified, followed up, and escalated appropriately, and monitoring audit closure through to satisfactory conclusion including closing meetings and committee presentations.
A key aspect of the role is preparing monthly reports on open and overdue audit recommendations, providing regular Management Information on audit progress and performance, and preparing Underwriting and Compliance packs for internal committees. You will provide ongoing oversight of the audit panel, represent the company on Lloyd's and other market forums, and provide technical expertise to the business on delegated authority matters. The role also involves supporting the development of audit policies and procedures, embedding operational risk management processes, and supporting the oversight and performance management of outsource partners.
You will have good knowledge of the Lloyd's market, Binding Authorities and Coverholder issues, with a clear understanding of regulatory requirements including Delegated Authority, Consumer Duty, Compliance and Financial Crime.
