Our client, a globally recognised specialist insurer, is looking for a qualified Syndicate Accountant to join their Finance team, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting across their managed Lloyd's syndicates. You will own monthly ledger maintenance, produce quarterly and annual regulatory returns (including Solvency UK), and deliver analytical commentary on syndicate performance. You will also liaise with internal and external auditors, support process improvement, and help coach junior team members on reporting standards.

Experience and skills required:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Lloyd's/insurance reporting and accounting knowledge
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Workday experience is a plus
  • A proactive team player with sharp attention to detail and a drive to improve processes
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment
