The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.

Our client is a leading insurer in the London market and in this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality and integrity of policy documentation across their Lloyd's platform. You will be the expert voice on insurance contracts - drafting, reviewing, negotiating and defending wordings to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate policy wordings, clauses and summaries of cover
  • Act as specialist referral point and coach for underwriting teams on wording matters
  • Own wording negotiations from inception through to final agreement with brokers
  • Liaise with underwriters and claims teams to support sound coverage decisions
  • Ensure compliance with Lloyd's requirements, regulatory standards and internal governance
  • Represent the team at market committees and industry working groups

Experience and skills required:

  • In-depth knowledge of insurance contracts and London Market wordings practice
  • Strong grasp of multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements, including US surplus lines
  • Experience engaging with Lloyd's and/or regulators
  • Excellent drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Confident communicator able to influence and build consensus at all levels
  • Commercial mindset - able to balance legal requirements with business objectives
