The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
An excellent opportunity to join a growing insurance company to manage an existing book of delegated authority book of Surety business and help build out the surety underwriting strategy with the CUO. You will take a leading role in the business development of surety business both in the UK and Europe. There will be travel as required to meet with the MGA partners however this will be limited.
Responsibilities will include:
- Achieving profitable growth in line with the company's objectives
- Account management of bound programs
- Providing insight into the coverage offered to underlying policyholders
- Conducting audits of the live programs
- Liaising with the Actuarial department regarding performance tracking
- Monitoring pricing
- Interacting regularly with MGA's under management and new opportunities
- Approving new products and schemes
You will have experience of underwriting Surety/Trade Credit business in the insurance industry and good knowledge of different surety products. Also strong process analysis, problem solving and creative thinking skills. Knowledge of one or more of the following languages would be ideal: Italian, German and Spanish.
