Our client is a growing insurance group based in the City. The successful candidate will have Credit Control experience gained the London insurance market, knowledge of Property, Cargo, or Aviation class of business, and someone who can read/understand slips, closings, and endorsements. There will be day to day communication with Brokers externally and Underwriters internally. Key responsibilities will include preparing and issuing monthly broker statement of accounts, allocating funds received and requesting closings and slips from Brokers, pursuing debtors frequently by telephone, email, and Teams to secure payment, identifying and escalating NOC from aged debt, being responsible for engaging and chairing meetings with each business unit to address any credit control issues, providing oversight to existing processes, analysing inconsistencies and recording errors in booked premium, and resolving unallocated cash. *Our client is committed to diversity in all of its forms and operates an inclusive recruitment process. …
