- Our client is a global insurance company based in the heart of the City
- You will have gained experience in a tax role within insurance and a good understanding of Insurance Premium Tax (IPT)
- You will be proficient with Excel and Power BI
- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills will be required
- You will be supporting the Tax Manager on all tax related matters for this part of the business, covering IPT, Corporation Tax, Deferred Tax, PSA, and VAT
- Assisting in completing tax returns including quarterly and annual reporting, as well as filing returns with HMRC
- Maintaining up to date knowledge in relation to the various territories regulations for both direct and indirect tax matters
- Fostering relations with Underwriters, Technical Accountants, and other parties
- Implementing process improvements to improve efficiency
