Responsibilities
- Monthly ledger close and journal preparation
- Balance sheet reconciliations (bank, accruals, prepayments, intercompany)
- Production of monthly US GAAP reporting
- Yearâend UK GAAP statutory accounts
- VAT returns and regulatory processes
- Audit support and liaison with external advisors
- Finance projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- Partâqualified / finalist / newly qualified accountant
- Direct experience in insurance accounting or Lloyd's market
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Organised, proactive and deadline driven
- Confident communicator who works well in a team
