Work directly with the Finance Director and engage with C-suite stakeholders across the group, driving financial planning, modelling, and strategic analysis. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models supporting rolling forecasts, board reporting, and capital management.
- Represent Finance in senior management forums and contribute to strategic business goals.
- Prepare executive reporting packs, KPI dashboards, and board presentations for Group and subsidiary boards.
- Lead staff cost budgeting, forecasting, and remuneration cycle modelling including scenario analysis.
- Produce headcount reporting for senior leadership and Remuneration Committee.
- Review management accounts, variance analysis, and provide commentary for Executive Committee.
- Support capital modelling and financial management of underwriting vehicles.
- Drive optimization of data flows and technology-enabled finance workflows.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
- Expert-level financial modelling capability with ability to build complex strategic models.
- Direct experience working within the London insurance market.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset.
- Commercial acumen with ability to communicate effectively with C-suite stakeholders.
- Understanding of FCA, Lloyd's, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Self-starter with tenacity, resilience, and results focus.
