Financial Controller
Salary: £100,000 – £120,000 per annum | Location: London
This is an exceptional role to join this ambitious and fast growth MGA environment as Financial Controller. Working directly with the CFO and closely with senior exec and the business units, this is a broad senior level finance role which can offer excellent scope and progression.
Responsibilities will include:
- Oversight of the day to day finance function including supervision and mentoring of a small and talented team.
- Responsibility to deliver group consolidated financial and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis under UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Oversee the financial reporting of the Group’s MGA entities to both internal and external stakeholders including rating agencies and investors.
- Partner with the various business units from underwriting to claims providing relevant MI data to assist with strategic decision making.
- Production of forecasts and budgets and analysis of results.
- Reporting on the MGA cash flow projections liaising with Treasury / Credit Control regarding working capital.
- Supporting and helping drive financial change initiatives as the function and business continues to grow.
This high profile and broad FC position would suit qualified accountants (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with demonstrable experience within the London insurance market, in particular having worked within the MGA model. This is an exciting time to be joining this dynamic MGA as they further develop and grow their business both in the UK and internationally.
