Weโre working with a leading insurance organisation who are looking to add an experienced Credit Controller to their finance team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate accounts, managing outstanding debt and supporting strong broker and stakeholder relationships.
Youโll be responsible for:
- Maintaining accuracy of sales ledger accounts through reconciliations, cash allocation and journals
- Proactively managing aged debt, issuing statements and chasing insurers/brokers
- Liaising closely with underwriting and claims teams
- Processing broker commission payments and related accounting entries
- Monitoring reinsurance invoicing and performing key reconciliations
- Supporting month-end processes including bank charges and reconciliations
- Training and covering for other team members when required
Weโre looking for someone with:
- Experience in credit control, within an insurance environment or wider financial or professional services
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and solid MS Office capability
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
