The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This global insurer are looking for a tax specialist to join on a 12-month maternity leave contract. You will join this group tax accounting team to provide support on tax compliance and reporting for their group companies.
Core responsibilities will include:
- To prepare the annual UK corporation tax returns end to end; including group relief with support from Assistant Tax Advisor.
- To make timely CTSA payments on account.
- To prepare tax disclosures for UK and international group and subsidiary statutory accounts at both year end and half year periods.
- Quarterly tax reporting and assisting with the preparation of syndicate returns and information submitted to Lloyd's.
- Review PSA return prepared by the Finance team and to manage and oversee a more junior Tax.
- Work closely with third parties and internal stakeholders.
- Work with external advisors and other group companies in preparation of the group UK and international tax provisioning and compliance.
- Provide support to the rest of Group Tax for other projects and business initiatives as required.
This broad role requires a broad tax accountant with strong reporting and compliance experience ideally gained within the insurance market, but candidates with financial services experience would be considered ideally with international tax experience. You will be available at short notice.
