We're looking for an exceptional Warehouse & Logistics Manager who thrives on building efficient systems, developing great teams and creating a warehouse operation that becomes a genuine competitive advantage.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to transform processes, embrace technology and build a high-performing warehouse capable of supporting significant future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, ensuring safe, efficient and accurate execution.
  • Maintain standards for goods receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Optimise warehouse layout and storage utilisation for large, bulky furniture products
  • Ensure exceptional housekeeping and organisation throughout the operation.
  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through robust controls and cycle counting.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and implement preventative measures.
  • Improve stock visibility and support increased inventory turnover.
  • Manage inbound deliveries from international suppliers and outbound deliveries to customers.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, investigations and corrective actions where required.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure all statutory inspections are completed.

About You

  • You'll be an experienced warehouse leader who enjoys building high-performing teams and improving operations.

Β· You'll bring

  • Proven warehouse management experience within furniture, homewares, retail, manufacturing or other large-item distribution environments.
  • Strong leadership experience managing operational teams.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement or Lean methodologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of warehouse systems and inventory management.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance service, cost and quality.
  • Confidence analysing operational data and making evidence-based decisions.
  • Experience managing transport and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High levels of resilience, energy and personal accountability.

Desirable

  • Experience managing bulky or furniture products.
  • WMS implementation or optimisation experience..
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
  • Counterbalance and/or Bendi Forklift licence. (essential)
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers.
  • Experience supporting business growth or warehouse relocations.
  • Your working hours would be 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday-Friday
