We are looking for enthusiastic General labourer to start work as part of Blithfield Lakeside Barnes' expanding friendly team on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Loading, unloading, moving, and transporting various materials and supplies.
- Assisting Trades: Supporting skilled workers (carpenters, plumbers, electricians) with their specific tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operating hand tools, power tools, and sometimes heavy machinery like forklifts or excavators (with training).
- Safety & Traffic Control: Following safety protocols, setting up barriers, and directing traffic to ensure a safe work environment.
- Site Preparation & Cleanup: Cleaning sites, removing debris, setting up scaffolding, digging trenches, and restoring areas after work.
Common Duties:
- Lifting, carrying, bending, and squatting to handle heavy objects.
- Assembling and dismantling temporary structures.
- Performing general maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
- Following instructions from supervisors and implementing project plans.
