Insight Investment is looking for a Sales Support Associate to join the EMEA Business Development Team in London.
The Sales Support Team performs a vital role in Insight’s Business Development efforts. The team provides dedicated sales support across a number of sales channels including, but not limited to, global consultant relations, UK and European direct institutional, and BNY sales activity in EMEA, APAC and beyond.
As a Sales Support Associate at Insight Investment, you will contribute to Insight’s success by providing a responsive, high quality day-to-day support service across all business development channels.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver presentations for all new business opportunities to new prospects and existing clients by attending pre meets, liaising with investment and marketing teams, and ensuring regulatory standards are met. Prioritise workflows to meet deadlines across all the supported channels.
- Support the Consultant Relationship Team’s efforts with global and regional consultants in the UK, Europe and further afield. Manage the consultant quarterly reporting cycle across Insight’s main investment capabilities (LDI, fixed income & multi-asset).
- Query resolution for the business development teams; includes maintaining a shared mailbox supporting BNYM sales activity.
- Managing the post-sales process and ensuring follow-ups are completed and pipelines are accurately updated.
- Contribute to team’s oversight of RFI/RFP pipeline, prioritising to ensuring deadlines are met and, where required, assist in their completion.
- Research prospects for the business development channel, supporting the building of new client relationships potentially leading to new business opportunities.
- Perform in-depth analysis of the competitor and product landscape, identifying areas of potential opportunity.
- Work and often lead on business development projects. Recent examples include the building out of sales messaging and materials for new investment strategies and the ownership of a new electronic marketing campaign centred around Insight’s money market strategies.
Experience Required
- 3 – 5 years relevant experience in a sales support, client service or presentations role in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and communication skills who shows energy, real drive and enthusiasm for what they do.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the key marketplaces in which Insight operates.
- Evidence strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships across the business.
- Work efficiently across multiple deadlines whilst always delivering exemplary service to stakeholders.
- Skills to work effectively across MS Office, with PowerPoint a key application; prior presentation production experience is not a prerequisite but would prove useful.
- Self-Starter
- Highly committed and demonstrates a pro-active style.
