Insight Investment is looking for a Client Reporting Apprentice to join the Client Reporting team in London. As an Apprentice withing the Client Reporting team, you will have an emphasis on building out the team’s relationships with various Insight stakeholders including senior members of staff throughout the organisation.
To succeed in this role candidates must be willing to learn in a fast-paced environment and show an aptitude towards solution focused outcomes, benefiting both the team itself and the wider business.
The apprenticeship will commence in October 2025 for 18 – 24 months.
We will structure your programme to give you the opportunity to experience and understand our business so on completion, the apprentice will be fully competent in the role. The apprenticeship should provide the successful candidate with the following opportunities:
- Be more effective when you enter a permanent role on completion of the programme
- Build networks and relationships across the organisation
- Gain technical understanding and working knowledge across our business
- Take professional qualifications such as Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) to support and complement business knowledge
- Establish the foundations in becoming Insight’s future leaders
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with accurate and timely production of the team’s regular monthly and quarterly Client Reporting requirements
- Work with senior team members when engaging with stakeholders across the business, including but not limited to; Client Service teams, Fund Management teams, Development Technical Support teams other Operational section teams
- Assist in resolving issues when required and build knowledge base of all reporting systems
- With knowledge sharing from senior members, learn the different investment strategies Insight offer to clients and the different reporting outputs for each strategy
- Have input to strategic projects and generate operational efficiency ideas within the team
Experience Required
- Desire to learn different reporting streams completed within the team, with end goal of being entrusted with and SME to several workflows
- Has the ability to assist the team with multiple high priority deadlines, ensuring deadlines are met
- Willingness to learn IT systems, including but not limited to, Microsoft package (Excel, Powerpoint and Word), internal systems and potential to explore development languages
- Must be proactive and possess a can do attitude to problems
- Good communication skills to escalate and present issues in a timely manner to senior team members
- Proactive and flexible approach, an individual who will use their skills to fully develop the role
- Operates with professionalism, honesty and integrity at all times
- Three A levels (minimum B, C, C) or equivalent (predicted or achieved)
- Must not hold a related degree that is connected to the program criteria
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven record of working collaboratively
- Curiosity about economics, finance or investment finance
- Ability to operate in a changing environment and challenge the status quo, innovative
