The .NET Architect will be responsible for defining, designing, and governing the architecture of enterprise‑scale .NET applications supporting RSA’s insurance platforms. The role requires strong hands‑on architecture skills, deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, and experience working in regulated insurance environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end application architecture for .NET‑based systems across development, integration, and deployment.
- Define solution architecture, technical standards, and design guidelines aligned to RSA enterprise architecture.
- Lead modernization initiatives including legacy system transformation to cloud‑ready and scalable architectures.
- Provide architectural governance across development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and vendors to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Review and approve high‑level and low‑level designs (HLD/LLD).
- Guide teams on performance optimization, security, scalability, and resilience.
- Support production issues, root‑cause analysis, and technical risk mitigation.
- Mentor senior developers and act as a technical escalation point.
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
- Strong expertise in .NET Framework / .NET Core / ASP.NET / C#
- Experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud (App Services, Functions, APIs, Storage, CI/CD)
- Experience with DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines)
- Strong understanding of security principles (authentication, authorization, encryption)
- Experience with integration patterns, messaging, and middleware
