Client is implementing an identity platform (Identity Security Cloud) while in parallel, the Transformation Programme is migrating away from the current Oracle EBS HR Database (BORIS) to Oracle Fusion. Both the project and the programme require validated, βcleanβ HR data for the platforms to function correctly and provide the intended capabilities. This project requires three additional team members (HR data analysts) for a circa six-month duration who will work with the HR and IT stakeholders to compile and validate key employee data attributes such as email address and line manager. The validated approved findings will then need to be updated in the BORIS HR database. The Data Analysts will be key stakeholders in the Data Identity Cleanse Project Team, supporting the meticulous cleansing, updating and validation of essential business data to support active directory, IT, HR, Payroll and finance records as a single source of reliability.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage volume data sets combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams to ensure the project scope is delivered to the required timelines and quality.
Principal Accountabilities:- Collate and conduct thorough data cleansing and validation of various data sets (IT, HR, Payroll records).
- Execute root-cause analysis to identify and rectify data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support the data cleanse project.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and gaps ensuring alignment to business needs and compliance.
- Perform data quality checks and implement best practices for data governance, stewardship and compliance.
- Support initiatives to develop a "Data as an Asset" culture.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality and project progress.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project plans, milestones and timelines are being managed effectively and efficiently.
- Present findings and recommendations to project leads and stakeholders.
- Identify data and process challenges making recommendations for process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure data is GDPR compliant.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with experience in managing large volume data sets within a project team (HR/IT) environment.
- Experience working with Oracle EBS.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and software (SQL, EXCEL, Tableau, Power BI etc).
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Experience in building strong partnerships across the wider business.
- Systems and data literate - confident to translate technical information and large data sets to ensure the HR Service proposition is delivered.
- Experience in building project plans with timelines, milestones, risks, issues and contingencies.
- Experience in setting and managing budgets within timescales and requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical acumen and business process knowledge.
- Understanding of ISC (Identity Security Cloud) or alternative Identity Management solutions.
