Our client is seeking a FTI Integration & Sprint Lead to steward and lead the end-to-end activation of the foresight-to-influence (FTI) system in practice, ensuring that foresight, research, practitioner guidance, and enterprise influence pathways are deliberately sequenced, integrated, and carried through to adoption. This role exists to prevent fragmentation, drift, and “great work that never compounds.” Its value lies not in producing content or managing projects, but in building alignment, securing commitment, and enforcing follow-through - making hard sequencing decisions, negotiating trade-offs, and holding partners to agreed priorities so that insight translates into real-world influence and behaviour change.
Key Qualifiers:
- Ability to operate as a system-level integrator and strategic influencer who:
- sees how individual initiatives connect (or fail to connect) across an end-to-end influence system
- operates comfortably in environments where authority is shared and alignment must be earned
- is willing to say “not yet,” “not now,” or “this doesn’t connect” to protect system integrity
- time-bound, cross-functional sprints or cycle-based work in matrixed organizations
- prioritization and sequencing processes that require explicit trade-offs and commitment
- operating rhythms that balance strategic intent with execution reality
- clear workstreams, ownership, and dependencies across multiple teams
- explicit influence pathways (e.g., guidance → education → societies → advocacy → market uptake)
- decision points for stop/go, escalation, or course correction
- brokering agreements and partnerships across functions
- facilitating content workshopping and planning across upstream and downstream owners
- holding partners to agreed commitments without relying on formal authority
- design and use adoption and influence metrics (e.g., engagement-to-adoption funnels, practitioner uptake signals, policy or standards traction indicators)
- interpret engagement, adoption, and influence signals to demonstrate progress over time
- help senior stakeholders understand how insight compounds into influence across the FTI system
- work productively with imperfect, emerging, or proxy metrics to build confidence, momentum, and alignment
Core skills:
- Systems thinking applied to execution, influence, and adoption
- Strong sequencing judgment - knowing what must happen first, what can wait, and what must not happen at all
- Ability to translate ambiguity into coordinated action without over-specifying
- Comfort negotiating trade-offs, enforcing focus, and sustaining accountability in senior, matrixed environments
- Ability to combine narrative and evidence to demonstrate real-world impact
