In this role, the Senior Project Manager will operate within the business PMO, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders across product, content, and technology teams to drive the planning and execution of multiple concurrent initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, they will own project plans, timelines, and overall execution, while actively managing risks, dependencies, and escalations to ensure successful delivery. The role includes overseeing financial tracking and forecasting, as well as supporting governance processes through Steering Committee (SteerCo) preparation and executive-level reporting. This individual will work closely with workstream leads to ensure progress, risks, and key updates are clearly communicated, while also refining messaging and materials for leadership audiences. Additionally, they will support go-to-market efforts tied to product, content, and platform initiatives, helping coordinate launch readiness across business functions. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively navigate both business and technical environments.

Please note, this is a 6-month contract (Inside IR35) with potential for extensions and/or FTE conversion. It is fully remote but would require the occasional on-site workshop in either London or Oxford.

Must-Haves:
  • Strong experience as a Project Manager within a business PMO, partnering closely with technical stakeholders (Tech Leads, Delivery Managers, Technical PMs)
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders
  • Strong execution discipline across planning, project tracking, risk/dependency management, RAID Logs, and escalation handling
  • Experience with governance and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, approvals, and SteerCo/executive reporting
  • Experience supporting go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, with strong executive communication skills (presentations, status reporting, stakeholder alignment)
  • Demonstrated longevity in recent roles (minimum ~2 years per role; no frequent job changes)
