Insight Global is hiring a Security Software Engineer to join a leading entertainment client for a fully remote role. As part of their security consulting and threat modeling function, you will work alongside the Principal and Senior Director of software security to help development teams build security into the applications from the ground up. You\’ll participate in threat modeling sessions, where you\’ll apply your technical expertise to identify potential security risks and help teams understand attack surfaces in their systems. Working closely with development teams, you\’ll provide hands-on technical guidance for implementing security controls and assist in reviewing design proposals to ensure security requirements are met.

Must Haves:

  • Experience as a software engineer with a strong background in applications security in enterprise level environments
  • Solid background in application security, cloud security, and secure software development practices (mix of both back and frontend)
  • Strong technical ability with the SDLC and principal languages (TM uses Java, C#, .NET, C++, Golang, Node,)
  • Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
