Insight Global are seeking a Front Office Production Support Engineer for a leading global investment bank, supporting a high-performing Corporate Treasury Trading & Execution Services function. This position requires 5 days onsite in London, UK for a 12‑month contract and is classified as Inside IR35. This is a hands-on front office support role working closely with traders, quants, middle office, and engineering teams within a fast-paced, multi-asset trading environment. The role focuses on ensuring the stability, performance, and resilience of trading and trade lifecycle systems, while driving continuous improvement across production processes.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for the trading desk, investigating and resolving production incidents, analysing root causes, and partnering with technology teams to deliver sustainable fixes. While the role is primarily focused on front office production support, there is also ownership of targeted C++ remediation work, alongside automation and monitoring improvements using Python or internal tooling.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing front office production support across multi-asset trading platforms.
- Investigating and resolving trade booking and trade lifecycle issues from execution through post-trade.
- Performing in-depth root cause analysis on production incidents and implementing preventative measures.
- Collaborating closely with traders, quants, middle office, and peer technology teams.
- Supporting risk, audit, and control remediation initiatives.
- Contributing to the migration away from legacy platforms and systems.
- Owning targeted C++ fixes related to stability, performance, and memory issues.
- Monitoring system health, batch jobs, and production workflows.
- Driving automation and operational improvements using Python or internal scripting tools.
Must-Have Requirements Include:
- Strong hands-on experience with C++ in a production environment.
- Python experience for automation, monitoring, or tooling.
- Proven front office or trading application support experience.
- Background working within financial services or trading environments.
