We are looking for a highly motivated, detail‑oriented professional looking to apply their due diligence skills while also developing an understanding of the evolving regulatory landscape. As part of a Private Client Onboarding team within a global banking and markets environment, you will support client due diligence activities, collect and review required documentation in line with policy standards, and contribute to ad hoc initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to help mitigate risk while collaborating with stakeholders across business, operations, and compliance functions.
Day‑to‑day you will work closely with teams across Operations, Compliance, Technology, and front-office/business functions, gaining exposure to how a global financial services organisation operates within a complex regulatory environment.
- Conduct AML and OTC regulatory due diligence to ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements
- Support the team with day-to-day oversight activities, alongside contributing to broader strategic initiatives
- Engage with internal stakeholders, including business teams, client onboarding teams, compliance, and technology, on KYC-related matters
- Identify, assess, and escalate risks or issues in a timely manner
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve and optimise client onboarding processes
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives as required
Must Haves:
- Prior experience in Corporate KYC/AML and compliance (AML)
- Strong risk awareness with the ability to identify and appropriately escalate potential issues
- Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail and a control mindset
- Ability to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and perform effectively under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
