Insight Global are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Business Analyst with expertise in LNG trading for our client in the energy sector.
As a IT Business Analyst specialising in LNG trading , you will capture and translate business problems and requirements into actionable functionality. You will assess risks, feasibility, and business impact, model processes and data flows to identify improvement opportunities, and create clear documentation to align with project solutions. You will interact with software suppliers and developers to ensure business requirements are met, configure and document software and processes, and validate solutions through testing. Additionally, you will create compelling business cases, lead stakeholder management activities, and guide teams in completing business analysis on projects.
Location: London (2-3 days a week onsite)
Duration : 6 month contract with extensions
Requirements:
- Very strong and knowledgeable in LNG trading with deep LNG trading and physical bulk commodity movement knowledge
- Agile project experience
- Understand Agile frameworks and tools
- Ability to educate stakeholders including Product Owners and Business partners in Agile ways of working
- Understand systems engineering concepts, data/process analysis and modelling, products & solutions
- Bachelor's Degree
Plusses:
- Agile certifications/trainings preferred
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA certification preferred
- Lean Practitioner training and experience are an asset.
