We are currently seeking a skilled Hardware Asset Management Analyst to join our team. This position will play a key role in expanding the scope and maturity of our hardware asset management (HAM) program, with hands-on responsibilities in the UK and coordination responsibilities globally.
Key responsibilities include:
- International hardware asset management including desktops, laptops, on-prem servers (physical and virtual), and mobile devices.
- International inventory management, including personally managing onsite and offsite inventory and stock rooms in the UK, and working with points of contacts throughout the globe to ensure standard inventory management and audit processes are followed.
- International disposal management, including personally managing UK-based disposal processes as well as working with international points of contact.
Must Haves:
- Experience in hardware asset management, specifically with desktops, laptops, on-premise servers (physical and virtual via VMWare), and mobile devices.
- Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Proven experience developing, improving, and implementing international hardware asset management processes, policies, and procedures that effectively merge people, process, and technology.
- Hands-on experience running physical hardware audits and verifications, performing root cause analyses on discrepancies, and providing actionable recommendations to address program or process gaps.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve asset management data quality issues.
- Experience managing both onsite and offsite inventory of hardware and related peripherals.
- Experience overseeing and executing hardware disposal processes in accordance with compliance standards.
