Insight Global is looking for an IAM Engineer to join one of our largest manufacturing clients. We are looking for a hands-on subject matter expert responsible for the design, operation, and security of our clients' enterprise identity platforms such as Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). This role ensures the availability, performance, and integrity of hybrid identity services that enable secure authentication, authorisation, and single sign-on across global business systems.
This candidate will be driving standardisation, automation, enforcing security, compliance controls, and leading incident, problem, and change management for directory services and associated integrations. Partnering closely with internal stakeholders and operations teams, this role delivers roadmap initiatives, remediates risk, and enhances user experience through reliable, scalable, and audit-ready identity solutions. The ideal candidate blends deep technical expertise with strong communication and service ownership in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment.
Qualifications
- Senior experience as an IAM Engineer with extensive experience in Active Directory and a background in enterprise-level companies
- Previously worked on directory modernisations, integrations, migrations and general admin tasks such as identity management
- Experience using Quest Change Auditor and Dynatrace
- Highly skilled using PowerShell throughout their whole career
- Comfortable completing root cause analysis of issues and decisively leads problem resolution
- Experience in security best practices and compliance requirements for area of expertise
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure or AWS) and large database experience (e.g. SQL)
- Experience working within an Agile methodology
