Overview
Insight Global is hiring for a Full-Stack Developer for one of our leading clients in the Technology space, focusing on optimising performance and scaling a security controller platform that supports millions of devices. You’ll be working on an existing codebase, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and contributing to backend improvements. The product is a complex, web-based application with multi-layered architecture deployed at scale via AWS. Ongoing frontend projects include legal compliance and accessibility enhancements. You’ll also contribute to licensing logic and UI presentation, helping produce more product SKUs and variations. The environment demands a strong understanding and ability to handle large datasets and scale backend systems effectively.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to backend improvements and feature development on a large-scale, multi-layered web application deployed on AWS.
- Work on licensing logic and UI presentation to produce more product SKUs and variations.
- Support frontend projects related to legal compliance and accessibility enhancements and handle large datasets in scalable backend systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in full-stack development
- Python and Django experience in large-scale applications
- React and TypeScript proficiency
- SQL database knowledge (ability to interpret and debug queries)
- Experience scaling applications (e.g., handling 8M+ records)
- Familiarity with accessibility-focused development
Nice to have
- Experience with Celery and task queues
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure deployments
