Insight Global is looking for a React Developer to join one of the largest financial services clients globally for a ongoing contract that will go on until end of year. The chosen candidate will be sitting in the Corporate Treasury team and be directly involved in the build of a net new application used by the operation teams within treasury. The purpose of this application is to automate previously manual workflows followed in processing payments for the firm as well as creating a one-stop application for all workflows to flow through as well as track and hence increase efficiency and reliability across the users as a whole. This project is at the beginning phase of development and hence the chosen candidate will be heavily involved in the end-to-end development of this application. That said, the chosen candidate must have strong hands-on experience with coding and developing net new features related to the use cases to aid with scalability for now and in the future.
Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and delivering complex and performant web frontends supporting multiple role-based access levels.
- Proficient in building applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and ReactJS, and integration with REST service APIs.
- Frontend development and build tools such as Node.js, Babel, Vite, Webpack, NPM, and Nx.
- Web / JS testing tools such as Cypress, Vitest and Puppeteer.
- Experience building secure web applications and aware of secure coding standards.
- Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, SVN, GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub.
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Plusses:
- Implementing real-time UI updates using reactive protocols such as WebSockets, SSE.
- Micro-services, micro-frontends, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes and container-based deployment, dashboards, cloud application development, and automated regression testing.
