Insight Global is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to support a high volume manufacturing plant in the Elgin, SC area. This role is responsible for overseeing day to day production operations, leading teams, and ensuring the facility is running safely, efficiently, and at full capacity. This is a key leadership role with strong visibility across plant operations. You will drive performance, develop leaders, and help improve overall production processes while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all production activities to maximize efficiency and product quality
- Manage and develop supervisors and frontline leaders
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and food safety requirements
- Monitor production performance and implement improvements to meet plant goals
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, sanitation, and other teams to resolve issues
- Assist in building production schedules and managing staffing needs
- Contribute to and manage the production portion of the operating budget
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Partner with plant leadership to execute operational strategies
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, equipment, and customer demands
- Coach and develop employees to drive engagement and performance
Qualifications
- 5 to 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environments
- Proven track record of managing teams and developing leaders
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards such as GMP or HACCP
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
