Insight Global are seeking a Corporate Commercial Counsel for a global professional membership organisation within the financial services sector. This position requires 1–2 days onsite in London, England for a 12-month contract (Inside IR35). This opportunity sits within the legal team and will support a wide range of commercial, corporate, and data privacy activities across a global business.

The role will involve:

  • Negotiating commercial contracts
  • Supporting corporate structuring initiatives
  • Acting as a key legal advisor to internal stakeholders
  • Contributing as Deputy Data Privacy Officer, working across governance, regulatory, and privacy matters, including international projects and society partnerships

Must-Have Requirements Include:

  • Law degree from an accredited institution
  • LPC graduate or qualified solicitor
  • Commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience
  • Strong understanding of corporate/commercial law principles
  • Experience supporting stakeholders across multiple business functions
  • Knowledge or exposure to data privacy matters (e.g., DSARs, governance, compliance)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with ability to manage a varied workload
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Office 365 tools

Plusses Include:

  • Experience in an in-house legal environment
  • Exposure to international legal work (e.g., EMEA or MENA regions)
  • Understanding of company secretarial or corporate structuring activities
  • Experience supporting mergers
