We are seeking local, security‑cleared Trade Helpers with a minimum of 2 years of Outside Machinist experience to support shipboard production work and controlled evolutions/equipment testing onboard submarines. This role provides hands‑on assistance to skilled trades and supports mission‑critical ship maintenance and testing activities in an active shipyard environment.
This role does require at minimum a Department of Defense final-adjudicated Personal Security Clearance at the Interim Secret level or higher. Candidates should be open to working 1st or 2nd shift and any overtime when needed. Work will be performed on two shifts, 6 days per week, Monday thru Saturday, up to 11 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week. If required, Sunday work may occasionally be scheduled with the 14th consecutive workday off.
Contract period is 4/1/26 - 12/31/26 but may be extended based on continuation of funding. Pay ranges from $25-$32/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
