Insight Global is looking for a Control Room Analyst to assist in playing a pivotal role in monitoring market activity and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The majority of the day, around 70%, is spent reviewing and responding to real-time alerts generated by the platform, typically 20–50 alerts daily depending on market volatility. Each alert requires quick analysis of large datasets using SQL and Python to validate positions, assess risk, and confirm adherence to disclosure of interest, wall crossing, and position limit rules.

The remaining 30% of the role focuses on driving the platform forward: collaborating with the technical lead and engineering team to maintain and enhance scripts, streamline workflows, and propose high-level improvements to internal tooling such as position and concentration reporting. This is a hands-on, technical role that blends regulatory expertise with data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Please note, this is a 12 month contract with possible extensions, requiring you to be on-site 5 days a week in the London office.

Must-Haves
  • Strong experience with Python in a control room setting OR ensuring risk and compliance at a financial institution
  • Strong with SQL accessing and manipulating massive data sets
  • Strong regulatory experience
  • Must have 1/3: disclosure of interest, wall crossing, or positional limits
