A large financial client is building out a new team for client success within its Corporate Trust Structured Debt business. This role sits above day-to-day operations and acts as the senior escalation point and client advocate for high-value, sophisticated clients (banks, private equity, private credit/CLO). You’ll focus on driving client satisfaction, resolving complex issues, and improving service delivery at the root cause, working across internal teams (Product, Operations, Risk, Legal).
The role requires strong executive communication, problem-solving, and relationship management, with the ability to manage difficult situations while maintaining trust and urgency.
Must Haves- Experience in Corporate Trust, structured debt, or related financial services (client service, relationship management, or similar)
- Experience managing a complex portfolio of clients (e.g., banks, alternative investment funds, etc)
- Strong understanding of structured debt / loans / CLOs (or adjacent)
- Proven client-facing experience handling escalations and complex issues
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder coordination skills (owning outcomes, aligning teams, driving resolution)
- Strong executive communication and storytelling ability (clear, confident client messaging)
- Demonstrated client obsession and sense of urgency
- Experience helping build out or shape new teams/functions
- Experience integrating in AI solutions
- Willingness to challenge status quo / be a disruptor when appropriate
- MBA or advanced degree
