Insight Global are seeking a Data/Business Analyst to join a large Global Markets & Securities Transformation programme for a leading financial services institution. This position requires 3 days onsite in London, Bromley, or Chester for a contract through end of year 2026 and is Inside IR35.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across securities products including bonds, repos, and broader Global Markets functions. You will map and design processes, contribute to the target operating model, and convert complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders. This role requires someone who can challenge existing workflows, leverage AI‑enabled analytics, and collaborate with technology, operations, and front‑office teams to deliver strategic change across the securities lifecycle.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across bonds, repos, and associated Global Markets products
- Design, visualise, and document end‑to‑end processes and workflows
- Build and refine components of the target operating model
- Analyse complex datasets and create concise, compelling narratives for senior leadership
- Challenge existing processes and identify areas for optimisation
- Collaborate with technology, operations, and front‑office teams to drive transformation
- Leverage AI‑driven analytics to enhance insights and process efficiency (where possible)
Must‑Have Requirements Include:
- Strong business and data analytics experience with a process/operating model focus
- Background in securities within an investment banking environment (bonds, repos, or wider markets)
- Proven ability to design and visualise end‑to‑end workflows
- Excellent capability in crafting data‑driven stories for senior stakeholders
- Confidence in challenging and improving existing processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with technology, operations, and front‑office teams
Plusses Include:
- Exposure to digital assets
- Experience in a COO or Chief Operating Office‑aligned function
