Insight Global are seeking a Data Analytics Delivery Lead for a large, global financial services organisation operating within a highly regulated environment. This position requires 3 days onsite in Chester, England on a contract through 31st December 2026 and is Inside IR35.
This role focuses on owning and delivering governance reporting, maintaining and enhancing automated reporting outputs, and ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with governance standards. You will work with large and complex datasets to provide meaningful insights, support governance forums, and help evolve reporting from reactive to proactive, insight-led decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing upstream and source datasets to identify risk trends and control effectiveness.
- Building and maintaining dashboards and visualisations (primarily using Tableau).
- Presenting clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Partnering closely with data owners and technical teams to improve data quality, understand data lineage, and maintain trusted datasets used across governance and assurance functions.
Requirements:
- Strong background in data analytics, reporting, or data-focused roles with hands-on delivery of insights.
- Comfortable working with large datasets, including upstream and source data used for recurring reporting.
- Experience building dashboards and visualisations using Tableau or similar tools.
- Understanding of risk, governance, and control frameworks within structured or regulated environments.
- Exposure to data governance principles, including working with data owners and source systems.
- Technical mindset with the ability to understand systems, data flows, and technical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Exposure to ServiceNow or similar governance and workflow tools.
- Background or strong interest in risk management disciplines such as vulnerability or capacity management.
