This role sits within Product Operations, supporting futures and cleared derivatives workflows across the full end-to-end trading lifecycle. The PM/BA will partner closely with a senior lead to drive delivery across multiple workstreams focused on clearing flow migration and optimisation.

The individual will play a key role in transitioning clearing processes onto a strategic platform, including capacity management and re-engineering of allocation workflows (potentially introducing vendor solutions or internal tooling). They will bridge business and technology, working closely with line SMEs to capture, refine, and deliver requirements aligned to operational objectives.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality business requirement documents (BRDs), coordinating the right SMEs across operations and technology, and ensuring initiatives progress effectively from discovery through to implementation. This is a hands-on role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to operate confidently across stakeholders.

Must-haves:

  • 4+ years' experience as a hybrid PM/BA within banking
  • Understanding of futures and the trade lifecycle
  • Knowledge of futures reconciliations, clearing breaks, and exception management
  • Strong requirements gathering and BRD writing experience
  • Confident stakeholder management across business and technology teams

Plusses:

  • Experience with GMI (FIS) or similar clearing platforms
  • Prior exposure to clearing flow migrations or allocation workflow redesign
  • Experience evaluating or implementing vendor products vs internal build solutions
  • Background supporting futures or ETD operations transformation initiatives
