Insight Global is seeking a Mid Level Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in manual testing to join the QA team at one of our largest IT clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of new and existing product features through comprehensive testing practices. This position requires expertise in Python, Selenium, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise-scale environments, alongside the ability to work effectively within established systems and improve existing testing frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality across the software development lifecycle and support the delivery of robust, high-performing applications.
Day-to-Day
In this role, you will take ownership of testing new and existing product features, ensuring a high-quality user experience across the platform. Your responsibilities will include conducting hands-on manual testing, validating bug fixes, testing system enhancements, and creating detailed test plans and test cases. You will maintain and enhance regression test packs, ensuring comprehensive coverage as the product evolves. Working closely with developers and product teams, you will be responsible for the end-to-end testing of new functionality while also contributing to the continuous improvement of quality processes. Additionally, you will help enhance and maintain automated test coverage within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub to support efficient and reliable software releases.
