Insight Global is looking for a Senior Backend AWS Engineer to join a leader in the telecommunication industry.
What you'll do:
- Develop excellent quality software
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, including support and continuous integration
- Contribute to the technical direction of the team
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other developers on the team
- Share and generate new ideas, provide constructive and useful feedback to peers
- Work with internal teams, external vendors and colleagues in the US
- Quickly build prototypes and work with top brains in ML across the industry
Must haves:
- Experience as an AWS Software Developer
- AWS certification
- Back-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with API and Microservices
- Experience working with Node.js
- Python, React, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, AppSync/GraphQL, API Gateway, Step Functions etc
- Expertise in working and following the best practices of using AWS serverless
- Proven ability to refactor and write performant and clean code
- Experience writing, reviewing and testing your own and teammates’ code
- Restless attitude and a drive to always make things better and quicker
- Experience in a fast pace environment
- Experience working with CI/CD in an agile team
