Purpose of the role:
- To ensure the effective and efficient use of energy and energy services throughout the council by the direction of investment in energy and water efficiency.
- To co-ordinate corporate programmes and the implementation of efficiency measures.
- To monitor energy use and to identify opportunities for energy saving measures and the use of renewable energy in the provision of council services.
- To develop energy partnerships and potential ESCOs.
£695 a day umbrella, 3 months initially likely to be longer and ongoing work. Hybrid working.
