Stock condition surveyor required to work for a local authority in the Leicestershire area for an initial period of 12 months.

Purpose of the role

  • Conduct detailed stock condition surveys, accurately record data and input into asset management systems.
  • Meet survey completion targets and manage appointments efficiently.
  • Identify hazards such as damp, disrepair, and structural issues.
  • Collaborate with asset and housing teams to report risks and issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice and documentation on property conditions.
  • Stay up to date with housing legislation and compliance standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and resolve property-related concerns.

Initially 12 months • 37 hours per week • 3 days office, 2 remote • Start ASAP • £250 a day (umbrella)
