Within this role, you will lead fire-related works across a live estate, from initial scope through to handover, with clear visibility and accountability. You will be comfortable operating across service orders, minor works and capital projects, with a strong grounding in fire safety compliance and M&E systems.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing service orders and minor/major projects from scope through to completion
  • Leading fire remedial works driven by Fire Risk Assessments and compliance activity
  • Developing project scopes, programmes, cost plans and risk registers
  • Coordinating contractors, consultants and stakeholders
  • Overseeing delivery on site, ensuring quality, safety and programme adherence
  • Managing budgets, challenging costs and ensuring value for money
  • Ensuring full compliance, governance and auditability across all works

There is a strong emphasis on fire systems and compliance-led capital works, including fire alarms, emergency lighting and wider M&E infrastructure.

What we’re looking for

  • Project management within the built environment
  • Fire compliance and statutory remedial works
  • Managing multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities
  • CDM Regulations and design coordination
  • Contractor and supply chain management

You’ll bring:

  • A recognised qualification in construction, engineering, project management or a related discipline
  • APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent
  • Fire safety or compliance-related qualifications
  • IOSH or NEBOSH
  • Strong working knowledge of fire legislation and standards

You’ll manage critical fire compliance delivery across an estate, with the autonomy to shape how projects are delivered and improved.
