Within this role, you will lead fire-related works across a live estate, from initial scope through to handover, with clear visibility and accountability. You will be comfortable operating across service orders, minor works and capital projects, with a strong grounding in fire safety compliance and M&E systems.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing service orders and minor/major projects from scope through to completion
- Leading fire remedial works driven by Fire Risk Assessments and compliance activity
- Developing project scopes, programmes, cost plans and risk registers
- Coordinating contractors, consultants and stakeholders
- Overseeing delivery on site, ensuring quality, safety and programme adherence
- Managing budgets, challenging costs and ensuring value for money
- Ensuring full compliance, governance and auditability across all works
There is a strong emphasis on fire systems and compliance-led capital works, including fire alarms, emergency lighting and wider M&E infrastructure.
What we’re looking for
- Project management within the built environment
- Fire compliance and statutory remedial works
- Managing multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities
- CDM Regulations and design coordination
- Contractor and supply chain management
You’ll bring:
- A recognised qualification in construction, engineering, project management or a related discipline
- APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent
- Fire safety or compliance-related qualifications
- IOSH or NEBOSH
- Strong working knowledge of fire legislation and standards
You’ll manage critical fire compliance delivery across an estate, with the autonomy to shape how projects are delivered and improved.
