NHS Estates Manager – Band 8a/Band8b Interim or Permanent Location: Southwest We are assisting a NHS client in the Southwest to recruit a 8a/8b Estates Manager (dependant on experience) on a long contract basis. The successful candidate will have prior Senior Estates management experience. The client will also accept experienced candidates from any Technical background but must be strong operationally. Key duties * Daily management and assurance of Subcontractors on the ground engineers. * Proactive programme management and resolution of issues/risks on an ongoing basis. * Management and coordination of planned preventative maintenance management. * Identify, manage and escalate risk within the operational delivery of the contract e.g. Unavailability risks, performance penalties, HR Issues, non-compliance. * To be responsible for managing and monitoring the implementation of all compliance issues, including codes of good practice in response to professional and NHS guidance. * To lead on the development and implementation of the departmental policies and overall strategy.
